Chris Truth was overseeing the Flame Mushroom experiments, so Liszt was fairly at ease. It was now early May. Although most crops had yet to ripen, many crops strengthened by Bug Grass were already ready for harvest.
Thus, corn cobs and corn rice appeared on Liszt's menu for the first time—the corn cobs had a faint sweetness, somewhat different from the corn cobs on Earth. The cobs were larger, but the kernels were sparse and not plump enough, making them inferior corn cobs.
Corn rice was made by cooking the hulled kernels of Grain Corn. Compared with millet rice, it had a richer fragrance and a smoother texture.

Mrs. Abby hopes you will taste them and offer your opinion on whether corn oil should replace the current cooking oil."
Liszt picked up his chopsticks.
