Candlelight Trading Firm developed rapidly, continuously recruiting lifestyle players from outside.
Although Candlelight Trading Firm had two high-end shops in White River City, there simply was not enough room for hundreds or thousands of lifestyle players. The three-story Candlelight Trading Firm had its first floor dedicated to selling goods, its second floor filled with various workshops, and its third floor used for warehouses, offices, and other rest areas. There were not many workshops.
Melancholy Smile had no choice but to send these newly recruited lifestyle players to produce items at the various lifestyle associations.
Although the space issue had been resolved, the costs had increased considerably.
Renting workshops from the associations required rent. Ordinary workshops did little to improve success rates, so they generally had to rent intermediate workshops. One intermediate workshop cost 1 Silver Coin per hour. One hundred people meant 1 Gold Coin, while a thousand people meant 10 Gold Coins—10 Gold Coins spent every hour.
Ten Gold Coins were enough to match the working capital of a small guild.
Because of this, Melancholy Smile had even considered suggesting that Shi Feng buy more land and construct more shops. However, satisfying the current number of lifestyle players was not something two or three plots of land could accomplish.
But things were different now.
The Candlelight Trading Firm beside the Auction House had been upgraded into a five-story building. Though it seemed like it had merely gained two extra floors, equivalent to adding shops on two more plots of land, the interior space had expanded as well, becoming more than twice as large. In other words, it had gained the space of five or six additional shops.
With so much space, they immediately saved an unknown amount in association workshop rental fees.
How could Melancholy Smile not be excited?
