The Elves' Reaction

One of them was a female fairy whose voluptuous figure could not be concealed even beneath heavy armor. She was Barghest, whom Morgan had named Fairy Knight Gawain.

When the heavens and earth across all of Britain underwent a sudden upheaval, she immediately turned to the fairy beside her, whose wolf-like yet dog-like head resembled Anubis, the Egyptian god of death from Proper Human History, and said:

"Duke Woodwose, it seems this Mors uprising is no trivial matter. We should retreat to the royal capital, gather our strength, and face this challenge under Her Majesty's leadership!"

Although Barghest was one of the younger generation of the Fang Clan, the majority of the curses of the sacrificial gods she bore had enhanced her potential.

As a result, her combat strength was only slightly below that of Duke Woodwose, the clan chief.

She knew very well that the magical energy reactions around Manchester were no longer something she and the Duke of Heat Dissipation, Woodwose, could handle on their own.

After all, among those magical energy reactions, including those around Manchester...

there were fourteen throughout Fairy Britain whose magical energy rivaled that of Woodwose, a primordial fairy.

Though she firmly believed that none of them could possibly match Woodwose, as the saying went, two fists could not defeat four hands.

Duke Woodwose would have no problem in a one-on-one fight, and even one against two should not be too difficult.

But one against three or four would be much harder.

Unfortunately, there were exactly four such magical energy reactions around Manchester.

If a battle broke out here, one of them could hold her down while the other three surrounded and attacked Duke Woodwose, the Duke of Heat Dissipation.
