Kakashi was recognized as an exceptional shinobi from childhood, becoming a jonin at twelve and later serving in the Anbu. His left Sharingan was transplanted from a dying best friend; despite not being an Uchiha, he eventually evolves it into a Mangekyō Sharingan. Its chakra burden initially prevents him from using its full potential reliably. 22 72

Following Obito's death, Kakashi becomes lethargic and less interested in growing stronger. Zhou Cheng's arena changes this: its invulnerable host allows Kakashi to attack without restraint, compare his damage against other prodigies, and obtain rewards that address his limited chakra reserves. 32 106
