Tang San attended Nuoding Academy's Dorm Seven, where he defeated Wang Sheng despite being only level ten. His martial soul was Blue Silver Grass, but his unorthodox fighting style and Tang Sect techniques already made him formidable. He later became Yu Xiaogang's disciple and cultivated according to his teacher's established soul-ring limits. 6 53

His confidence in those limits was shaken when Bai E revealed a thousand-year second soul ring and later a five-thousand-year third ring. Tang San's own defeat by Bai E, followed by Ye Qiong repeatedly taking opportunities that Tang San sought, became the foundation of his hostility toward Omphalos Academy. 6 7 11 12 53

Lost Opportunities in the Forests

While searching for Xiao Wu, Tang San nearly uses the Dragon Whisker Needle against a Human-Faced Demon Spider before Ye Qiong kills it and claims the spirit ring. Later, Ye Qiong eliminates the Ten-Thousand-Year Cave Spider before Shrek arrives at Sunset Forest, forcing Tang San to settle for a six-thousand-year fourth ring. 11 52 53

Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Tournament
