History
Kaguya was resurrected when Uchiha Ao used the Little Ten-Tails to channel chakra into Madara Uchiha, who served as her vessel. Disoriented after returning from a millennium-long seal, she was immediately forced into Takamagahara, where Ao's realm suppressed her power and prevented her from using Yomotsu Hirasaka. Black Zetsu reached her there and addressed her as his mother. 89
After Black Zetsu urged her to surrender, Kaguya offered Ao the means to complete his Ten-Tails: an Ōtsutsuki sacrifice. Ao spared her in exchange for her service, binding her with a Takamagahara-based restriction and having her implant Karma into a new vessel. 90 91
Before completing the sacrifice, Kaguya used her brief freedom to revisit the shinobi world. Seeking revenge on the Great Toad Sage Gamamaru for his role in influencing Hagoromo and Hamura against her, she pursued Jiraiya to the toads' mountain, captured Gamamaru, tortured him in her lava dimension, and sealed the mountain. 91 92
Kaguya ultimately merged with the Little Ten-Tails, completing it into a fully formed Ten-Tails. Ao subsequently restored her through the Karma vessel and kept her at his home, where she began accompanying him across worlds. 93 94
In the One Punch Man world, Kaguya assisted Ao with planting a God Tree, observed and restrained monsters, and gradually developed an interest in television, anime, desserts, and ordinary leisure activities. 95 99 She later traveled with him to the Type-Moon world, supported his rescue of Matou Sakura, and operated as the masked woman controlling Artoria and Diarmuid during the Holy Grail War. 113 124
Appearance
Kaguya's original resurrected form wore a magnificent white robe and had long hair cascading like a waterfall, giving her a divine yet intimidating presence. Her later Karma vessel resembles her original appearance by roughly seventy to eighty percent, but looks younger and less imposing. 89 90
- Pale, jade-like skin; her vessel is noted to feel unusually warm after resurrection. 90 94
- Long white hair and silver brows. 89 94
- Rinne Sharingan, which visibly trembles when she is frightened or conflicted. 90
- A cross-shaped seal appears on her forehead when Ao suppresses her power. 108
Personality
Kaguya initially carries herself with cold detachment and considers mortal lives fleeting compared with the Ōtsutsuki lifespan. Returning to the shinobi world, she judges it as “chaotic, corrupt, foolish,” and remains resentful toward Hagoromo, Hamura, and Gamamaru for her sealing. 91 92
Her millennium of isolation also leaves her inexperienced with modern life and occasionally absent-minded. She asks basic questions about technology, misunderstands Ao's instructions regarding Karma, and admits ignorance of concepts such as a world's origin power. 90 95 103
Over time, Kaguya becomes noticeably more expressive and dependent on Ao's presence. Although she complains about his orders and teasing, she accepts his care, enjoys sweets and anime with him, guards him while he absorbs power, and is visibly frightened when left powerless during the Z-City meteor crisis. 99 108 109 112
