He flew above the Hokage Building and saw Tsunade meeting with several senior officials, discussing the investigation into the Crow Group.
He also flew near the Anbu base and sensed the cold aura emanating from the Anbu members.
Just as he was immersed in this wondrous sensation, a sharp stabbing pain suddenly surged from the depths of his soul.
It was as though his soul had been attacked by something, instantly becoming unstable.
"Not good!"
Kawaki Aoba was startled and hurriedly controlled his soul, flying it back toward his body.
His soul had been out of his body for too long and had been disturbed by outside forces. If he did not return to his body quickly, his life could be in danger.
When his soul returned to his body, he abruptly opened his eyes and panted heavily, his forehead drenched in cold sweat.
His body was weak to the extreme; he did not even have the strength to raise a hand.
Knock, knock, knock!
Just then, knocking sounded from the door.
Kawaki Aoba frowned and used all his strength to call out, "Who is it?"
"It's me, Harukawa Rin."
Harukawa Rin's anxious voice came from outside the door. "I heard something happening in your room. Are you all right?"
Kawaki Aoba did not answer.
He was nearly too weak even to speak.
When Harukawa Rin received no response from inside, she grew even more anxious.
She pushed hard against the door and found that it was unlocked.
She quickly pushed the door open and walked in. Seeing Kawaki Aoba lying weakly on the bed, his face pale and his forehead covered in cold sweat, she was startled.
"Kawaki Aoba! What happened to you?"
Harukawa Rin hurried to the bedside, crouched down, and asked worriedly.
She reached out, intending to
