"Wendy, what's wrong?" Sensing something was off, Meredy hurriedly asked in concern.
"N-Nothing." Wendy barely managed to steady her emotions. "I just feel like you've grown so much."
"Have I?" Meredy smiled shyly. "Maybe it's because I've been keeping a regular schedule these past few years and eating well."
Eating well, sleeping well.
The corners of Wendy's mouth twitched slightly.
She had also kept a regular schedule these past seven years and had never been picky about food, so why had she not developed in the slightest?
"You're great too, Wendy."
Meredy quickly comforted her.
"You're still the same as you were seven years ago, especially cute."

The grievance in Wendy's heart grew even stronger.
She did not want to only be praised as cute. She wanted to grow taller, to transform, to have a mature appearance.
She wanted to be dashing like Erza, gentle and radiant like Mirajane.
But the current her still looked like a childish little kid.
Tears welled in her eyes, and Wendy desperately held them back.
"I'm going to the restroom."
She forced out a faint smile, then turned and hurried toward the corridor.
Meredy watched her rushed retreating figure, utterly confused.
Carla slowly floated over and sighed helplessly.
"Stop guessing. She took a hit."
"Huh? Did I say something wrong?" Meredy asked in a panic.
"Wendy has been troubled by her height and figure all these seven years."
Carla explained softly.
"She's barely grown at all. Seeing you completely mature must feel awful for her."
"I didn't mean to..." Meredy was filled with guilt.
"It's fine. Just let her have some time alone."
