Victor Krum gave Wizet a meaningful look, then raised his wand and cast the Night Vision Charm on himself using the method Wizet had provided.
"The sensation is intense..." His expression filled with delighted surprise. "It's like being back on the pitch. Even the roar around me isn't as loud as my heartbeat."
He had only taken one sip of the Petrification Potion when his arm froze in place, clearly already affected by the potion.
Wizet raised his wand, aimed it at Victor Krum, and cast the General Counter-Spell. "Finite Incantatem!"
Victor Krum regained his ability to move and set the potion bottle on the table, his other hand already pressed against his chest.
"I can feel it... it's as though it passes through my heart, then quickly spreads throughout my body... without heightened sensitivity, I don't think I would have felt it so clearly."
"Does it really work like that?" Harry asked with an odd expression. "Why do some of the potions I take in the Hospital Wing make my mouth and stomach feel uncomfortable?"
"You could try the Petrification Potion on the table," Draco suggested. "But I think it might be something wrong with you. You'd better get a thorough checkup at St. Mungo's."
Wizet kept his face carefully composed, trying not to smile. Harry's question was actually rather difficult to answer;
after all, under normal circumstances, few potion-makers would add all sorts of strange things to their potions while still ensuring they worked.
"Let's try the Full Body-Bind Curse, then..." Wizet finally suppressed his amusement and pointed his wand at Victor Krum. "Mr. Krum, are you ready?"
Victor Krum nodded. "Of course!"
"Petrificus Totalus!" Wizet recited the incantation, casting the spell at Victor Krum's legs.
