After training at Melwood that afternoon, Chen Anno was summoned alone to Klopp's office.
Klopp said some inexplicable things, rambling on for nearly half an hour.
Even when Chen Anno walked out of the office, he still had no idea what the manager had been trying to say.
Completely baffled, he scratched his head as he headed toward the locker room.
The moment he reached the door, he saw that the room inside was pitch-black.

Before his hand could touch the switch on the wall, two explosive pops rang out beside his ears, startling him so badly he nearly threw a spinning kick on the spot.
Fortunately, the lights came on at the same time.
Party poppers burst over his head, and fine golden confetti drifted down from the ceiling, covering his hair and face.
Only then did he see Mane and Arnold standing on either side of the door, each holding an empty party popper and grinning from ear to ear.

Captain Henderson pushed a trolley into the center of the locker room.
On it sat a three-tier chocolate cake. A single candle stood on the top layer, its flame gently swaying in the air-conditioning breeze.
A few words had been scrawled crookedly across the cake in burnt cream:
Happy birthday, our Super Anno.
The handwriting was awful. One look was enough to tell that Arnold had written it, because everyone knew his handwriting was the worst.
Henderson stood behind the trolley with his arms folded, pretending to look stern.
