Inside a cargo ship bound for the Lower City, five men and women in strange attire were quietly hiding in the deepest part of the hold.
A small barrier separated the five from the cargo outside, as though they were in another world. Even the people passing by on patrol subconsciously overlooked the area.
"Brother Lei, why are we going through so much trouble? It's only the Lower City. The five of us could just march in and take it head-on. I doubt they'd dare resist."
A curvaceous woman in a skintight outfit complained incessantly.
She truly could not understand why a mere Lower City deserved so much attention.
"I agree with Third Sister. It's just one Lower City. Do they really dare resist us?" A seductive voice spoke, yet it came from a man with a resolute face.
"Fourth Sister—or Fourth Brother—you should stop talking. You're making me nauseous."
A muscular man could not take it any longer and hurriedly spoke up, earning the agreement of the other four.
"Third Sister, it never hurts to be cautious. Since this was specifically assigned to us from above, we should be more careful," the second brother said sternly.
"Although the Lower City cannot compare to our Upper City, there are still quite a few experts there. Don't let your guard down. Even if we join forces, we couldn't possibly kill everyone in the Lower City." Though Second Brother spoke of caution, his arrogance was equally plain to see.
