While Snake King was celebrating excitedly, she also noticed that something was off with her teammate's mood.
The Gold Tier powerhouses of the Upper City had founded families, so they were all addressed as Ancestors.
Meanwhile, because of the Earth King's influence in the beginning, those in the Lower City who became Gold Tier were also granted the title of "King."
To some extent, Gold Tier powerhouses really could call themselves kings in such remote regions.

Snapped out of his daze by his teammate, King Lei regained his senses. Although his teammates were all happy to have survived and to see Lord Sky King advance into the Legendary Realm...
For some reason, King Lei felt as though he had lost something important. An inexplicable sense of unreality lingered within him.
Such emotions should never have appeared in a powerful Gold Tier powerhouse.
Yet King Lei could not find the cause, which gave him quite a headache.
"Could you have been affected by that Abyss Lord just now?" Snake King asked with a frown.
An Abyss Lord at least comparable to the Legendary Realm could easily do something that ordinary Gold Tier powerhouses would struggle to detect.
The most dangerous enemy they had encountered had been that Abyss Lord just now.
"That's possible!"
King Lei's expression turned grave. If the Abyss Lord had planted some hidden trick on him, that would be troublesome.
If something went wrong with a Gold Tier powerhouse, the consequences could be terrifying.
"There's no point agonizing over it here alone. Go see Lord Sky King. If it's the Abyss Lord's influence, Lord Sky King should be able to..." Snake King said quickly.
They were no longer rootless drifters. There was now someone above them, holding up the sky.
