Background / History

Lingxiao took form during the Witch-Demon Calamity with the foundation of the Twelve-Grade Purifying White Lotus. He entered Lord Tongtian’s tutelage as a direct disciple of the Interception Sect after Tongtian praised his potential to lead a sect. Lingxiao subsequently devoted himself to resolving the sect’s karmic slaughter and attempting to alter its fate. 1

His efforts ultimately destroyed his origin, damaged his body, and left his Primordial Spirit close to dispersal. Rather than remain tied to a sect that had abandoned him, Lingxiao chose to sever his karma with Lord Tongtian and the Interception Sect. The God-Level Choice System rewarded that decision with Chaos Green Lotus Origin. 2 3

After refining the Chaos Green Lotus Origin, Lingxiao reconstructed his innate foundation and cast off the karmic burden attached to the Interception Sect. Zhenyuanzi and Daoist Hongyun became important supporters during this recovery, while Five Estate Temple served as his early refuge and backing. 3 12

Haotian and Yaochi recruited Lingxiao into the Heavenly Court, first offering the Pure Yang Sword and Penglai Immortal Island.
