He's Nervous

"Nice work, kid!" Iron Man praised.

When Ant-Man had appeared earlier, he thought the shield was going to be taken back. He hadn't expected Peter's reaction to be so fast.

"What the heck is that thing? Is it really some kind of monster? Straight out of a picture book?" War Machine fired off a barrage of questions.

"Ahem, I'm not a monster. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ant-Man," Ant-Man slowly got up from the ground, giving Peter a resentful look. "Kids these days have no respect for their elders."

"I'll respect you when you're old, Uncle Ant," Peter declared that he'd never lost a battle of wits.

Ant-Man grumbled, "I'm not an ant, I'm Ant-Man, you spider."

"I'm not a spider, I'm Spider-Man."

Seeing that the two were about to engage in a "battle of wills," Iron Man intervened.

He had already located the positions of Captain America's other helpers using the thermal imaging on his Iron Man Armor.

"There are two on the tarmac. One of them is Wanda. I'll go get her."

Captain America was reaching out to Peter for the shield. "Son, can you give me the shield?"

Peter swung the shield in his left hand, grinning. "Sorry, I'm quite comfortable holding this shield. How about you leave it with me for now?"

Clang!

As he spoke, he shifted slightly, blocking an incoming arrow with the shield.

"Good job," Iron Man praised, then turned and flew towards the tarmac. "Rhodey, you handle Captain."

Rhodey replied, "There are two in the terminal. It's Wilson and Barnes."

"Barnes is mine!" Black Panther immediately ran towards the terminal upon hearing this.

Captain America's expression tightened slightly, knowing he wouldn't get the shield anytime soon. He didn't hesitate any longer and turned to chase after Black Panther.

Barnes was his good brother, so he couldn't just stand by and let Black Panther confront him.

However, without the shield, Captain America, relying only on his flesh and blood, was no match for Black Panther.

He quickly fell into a disadvantage.

If Black Panther hadn't held back from delivering a fatal blow, Captain America probably wouldn't have lasted more than a few hits.

"Then I'll go take on the famous Winter Soldier," Peter said, glancing at the scene below. He felt he wasn't needed here for the moment.

Black Widow had already started fighting with Ant-Man.

Everyone was locked in their own duels.

So, he decisively left, shooting out a web towards the terminal.

Soon, he found two people running on the second floor of the terminal. One of them had a silver metal arm on his left side.

Such a unique identifier meant he was the Winter Soldier!

Peter directly swung the shield, smashing through the glass with its edge, and charged in.

"Whoa, what the hell are you?" Winter Soldier was startled.

Falcon struck a fighting pose. "Do people really have all sorts of flashy gadgets these days?"

Peter looked at Winter Soldier's arm and emphasized, "I don't think he's lacking either."

Winter Soldier looked at the shield in his hand and asked, "Are you sure you want to stop us?"

"I was asked to," Peter shrugged.

Winter Soldier said no more; he wasn't one for many words anyway.

Boom!

Winter Soldier swung his metal arm and smashed it towards Peter.

Peter raised the shield and easily blocked the blow, feeling no impact on his hand.

"Whoa, is this the Vibranium Shield? Cool!"

Just then, his Spider-Sense went off.

Peter exerted a sudden force and leaped up.

Whoosh—

A figure zipped past the spot he had just occupied.

If he hadn't jumped, he would most likely have been grabbed and flown away by now.

His powerful dynamic visual acuity allowed him to see the figure clearly at a glance.

It was Falcon!

However, he was now in combat mode, with a pair of metal wings attached to his back.

"Whoa, he has a metal arm, and you have metal wings. How dare you call me flashy?" Peter aimed a web at Falcon's back.

Falcon dodged it with a nimble sidestep.

He then fired several micro-missiles back at Peter.

Peter wasn't bothered by the straightforward attack; he simply feigned taking a step to the side, dodging all the projectiles.

That's right, he only feigned it.

Based on the warning level from his Spider-Sense and his quick estimation of the launch trajectories of the micro-missiles, they wouldn't hit him at all. At best, they were just a warning.

As expected, everyone was playing along with a tacit understanding.

Of course, Peter was also quite interested in playing along with them.

Whoosh—

Another web fluid shot out.

But Falcon dodged it again.

Peter scratched his head and glanced at the shield in his hand with some annoyance.

If he had fired with both hands earlier, he could have blocked Falcon's movement, making it harder for him to dodge.

As expected, Spider-Man shouldn't be playing with shields.

Peter's eyes darted around. "Here goes!"

He tossed the shield, and it shot rapidly downwards towards Winter Soldier.

Winter Soldier was startled, raised his hand to catch the shield, and was pushed back several steps by its immense force.

Peter, having successfully sent the shield away, seriously engaged Falcon again.

The space above the waiting area was actually quite open relative to Peter as an individual.

But for Falcon, who was wearing a mechanical metal wing suit, it was a bit too narrow.

Many of his actions were restricted because of it.

Peter quickly noticed this and exploited it.

Taking advantage of an opportunity when Falcon was dodging a thick steel beam, Peter predicted his position and fired a web fluid projectile, directly sticking to the power gear of Falcon's mechanical metal wing suit on his back.

Click, click.

The gears moved a few times before being bound by the tough web fluid.

Falcon fell directly from the air.

Peter initially intended to save him, but upon realizing the height was insufficient to cause injury, he didn't act.

Falcon landed on the ground and quickly got up, extending his hand, preparing to use his equipment to attack Peter again.

At this moment, Peter had already predicted his move.

Zip, zip. Two strands of web fluid, one to the left and one to the right, directly bound Falcon's hands to the guardrail.

"Are your wings made of carbon fiber? No wonder the stiffness-to-elasticity ratio is so good."

"Did you spin your webs yourself?"

"Uh, of course not. Actually, I wish I could spin webs myself. It would be so convenient, and I wouldn't have to sneak coughs in class," Peter awkwardly defended himself.

Falcon was speechless. "Kid, have you never fought before? We don't usually talk this much trash when we fight."

"Nonsense, of course I've fought!" Peter recalled his few battles in the Shadow Spider-Man world and discovered the difference between them.

In that world, he was actually a combination of himself and Shadow Spider-Man, so his methods were more decisive, and his mentality was more mature.

But this current him was the complete him.

He was talking so much trash, not for any other reason, but because... he was nervous!
