New Web-Shooter

Peter was stunned at first, finding it hard to believe.

He'd had his spider-powers for over a month now, and had been making his own web-shooters and web fluid for about half that time. But all he'd learned was how to shoot webs in one basic way.

The new webs and web-balls were things he'd only learned and made after visiting Shadow Spider-Man.

Even Shadow Spider-Man only knew a few ways to shoot webs.

Yet now, this suit Iron Man had given him actually had 576 scientific web-shooting methods programmed into it?

How was that possible?

Was this a joke?

It felt like it was negating all his efforts over the past month!

However, when Peter took a closer look at the training courses, he saw rows upon rows of long names, each one unique.

Things like "Web Grenade," "Separating Web," "Electric Web," "Web Barrage," "Bouncing Web," and "Web Parachute."

He finally discovered two undeniable facts with a sigh:

First, his painstakingly researched web-shooter was obsolete!

Second, he really had to trust science!

Although Iron Man didn't rely on webs as a primary offensive tool, the scientific methods he'd analyzed for web-shooting were indeed very useful.

For example, the Bouncing Web was a type of web fluid that could delay its explosion. Due to some special additives, it wouldn't detonate immediately after being fired.

If an enemy was hiding behind a wall, Peter could calculate the simple ricochet angle and shoot the Bouncing Web directly at them to knock them down!

Then there was the Web Grenade, a special web-ball containing a large mass of web fluid. When thrown, it would instantly transform into a giant web.

This instant web formation could be applied in many situations.

For instance, when he dealt with drunk drivers who broke traffic rules on the street, he always had to use his own strength to stop their out-of-control vehicles to prevent them from hitting people.

But it was always difficult to stop them completely, often causing unnecessary damage.

Even though he didn't have to pay for the damage, since he chose to help, he naturally wanted to do the best job possible!

With a Web Grenade, he could instantly create a large web to catch a falling car in mid-air.

This would give him ample time to "handle the car with care."

The other various web-shooting methods all had their own specific uses.

Even without personally studying the tutorials, Peter could grasp some of their functions just by reading the names and descriptions.

Next, Peter roughly checked the other contents of the training protocols.

Some were disabled, informing him that he needed to reach a certain training level before they could be unlocked.

But even the ones that weren't disabled made him feel like he had gained a lot.

It was then that Peter began to realize the true value of this suit.

Its materials, texture, and AI were only part of it. The knowledge meticulously integrated into it, in Peter's opinion, was worth just as much as those aspects!

"Mr. Stark," Peter didn't know why Iron Man was being so good to him, but he knew he had to remember this kindness!

Even if it was just a "transaction," casually making something to dismiss him was completely different from putting in extreme effort to make something for him!

Filled with gratitude towards Iron Man, Peter resumed his "acrobatics" in the room.

Thwip!

Thwip!

Thwip!

Knock, knock, knock!

The door was knocked on.

Peter flipped nimbly, looked through the peephole, and saw no one outside.

Huh?

Knock, knock, knock!

The door was knocked on a few more times, then it opened directly.

Oh, it was the door to the room itself.

Happy walked in.

He'd almost forgotten that his room was connected to Happy's room.

Happy looked expressionlessly at Peter, who was wearing the spider-suit, then his gaze swept over the dense webs covering the ceiling, corners, and walls: "Are you planning to turn this place into a spider's den? You're Spider-Man, not a spider monster."

Peter scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Discovering so many interesting things had made him a little too excited, and he'd completely forgotten about this.

He was in a hotel right now. If housekeeping found the webs in the room, wouldn't his identity be exposed?

Fortunately, Happy saw his predicament and said, "Stop it now, immediately. You can test the suit when we get back. I'll extend the room for another day, and we'll check out after the specialized personnel have cleaned up any traces."

"Thanks, thanks," Peter breathed, thanking him repeatedly.

He really didn't want to reveal his identity just yet.

It wouldn't be a big deal if his true identity were known to superheroes like Iron Man and Ant-Man.

After all, they were all in the same boat.

They wouldn't interfere with each other's lives for no reason.

But if ordinary people found out... that would be trouble.

He had already experienced this in the world of Shadow Spider-Man.

In that world, Shadow Spider-Man's true identity wasn't even exposed, but because Ben Yuri had been close to Peter before his death, danger had befallen Peter and his Aunt May.

If Peter hadn't gained spider-powers, or if Peter hadn't reacted in time and returned a moment later, Aunt May would surely have followed in Uncle Ben's footsteps and fallen victim to the Vulture!

He absolutely didn't want to bring these things to his Aunt May!

After Happy warned him, he returned to his room.

Peter could only lie on the bed bored.

Before he knew it, he fell asleep.

He had a long dream.

In his dream, he saw countless Spider-Men.

There were burly Spider-Men in black suits, slender Spider-Men in white suits, Spider-Men in steampunk exoskeletons, and even Spider-Ham with a pig's nose.

Finally, he seemed to see a giant web, with a figure sitting in the center.

The night passed quickly.

Peter didn't get to see Iron Man.

The next morning, Happy received a message from Iron Man, and then took Peter back to New York, USA, on the private jet they had arrived in.

It was said that Iron Man had gone to Siberia and fought with Captain America and the Winter Soldier, a brutal battle seemingly filled with personal grudges.

It wasn't until he got off the plane in New York that he saw Iron Man again.

But Iron Man didn't go into detail about the subsequent events.

Peter could only vaguely guess what had happened from the occasional low mood Iron Man exuded.

Iron Man didn't make any further arrangements for him.

Although he had performed commendably in this incident, Iron Man probably considered his studies and didn't want him to invest too much energy in the superhero "career" – if it could even be called a career.

Anyway, on the way back, Iron Man kept emphasizing to Peter that he should study hard and not think about idle things.

To this, Peter could only mumble and hum, brushing it off.
