At Konoha's entrance, he argued bitterly with the Third Tsuchikage, Onoki; the dispute escalated until A activated his Lightning Release chakra and prepared to fight. Tsunade forcibly interrupted both Kage before a battle could break out. 26

Later, while visiting the Land of Iron with Killer B to commission a weapon, A encountered Cangshu Qianyu at a master craftsman's workshop. Angered when the craftsman began Qianyu's custom sword before his own, A challenged Qianyu to a weapon duel. 67

Personality

A is direct, confrontational, and highly sensitive to perceived disrespect. He readily escalated his dispute with Onoki into a potential Kage-level clash and reacted angrily when Qianyu received priority at the Land of Iron workshop. 26 67

Despite his aggression, he accepts established authority and ultimately acknowledges fault when Qianyu exposes his violation of the duel's rules before Mifune and the gathered samurai. 68

A challenged Qianyu to a no-ninjutsu weapon duel. Qianyu entered unarmed, formed a chakra blade, and avoided A's heavy-blade offense until A secretly used Lightning Release. Qianyu presented the resulting scorch mark as evidence, turning the duel into a public humiliation for the Raikage. 68
