Re-Estize Kingdom, Togres.

This was a city in the southern part of the kingdom. In terms of size, Togres was the largest city among the three southern counties of the kingdom.

However, the kingdom's royal capital and major cities were concentrated in the north. Compared to metropolises like the royal capital and E-Rantel, Togres still fell somewhat short.

Since it was not on the warfront, Togres had not specially constructed multiple layers of walls. It had only one thick city wall to defend against magical beasts that escaped from the forest. Inside the walls lay the city proper. There was no clear boundary between the residential and market districts, though several densely populated streets were particularly lively.

Yet the moment a figure appeared on the street, the lively atmosphere immediately fell silent.

Everyone, merchants and residents alike, turned their eyes in that direction. What had drawn their attention was a knight.

The person wore silver-white full plate armor adorned with ornate engravings. A fully enclosed helmet covered their head, making it impossible to see their features.

"Paladin!" a child shouted.

Indeed, judging by that person's equipment and bearing, it was easy to associate them with the paladin class. Unfortunately, that guess was wrong.

This knight was a genuine heavy damage dealer.

The knight crossed the plaza and entered a building—the city's Adventurer's Guild.

"Rhongomyniad, thank you for your hard work." The Adventurer's Guild receptionist respectfully bowed to the knight. A snakeskin sack and an ornate little box sat atop the counter.

"This is..." The knight called Rhongomyniad picked up the little box.

"It is your new plate. Due to your outstanding achievements, you have exceptionally been promoted to mithril rank."

The receptionist's voice was extremely excited. This was a small city, and the highest-ranking adventurers in it were mithril rank.
