"Demiurge, get to the Throne Room immediately!" Momonga issued the order through [Message] magic.

"Yes, I'll be there at once." Demiurge's energized reply came through.

His voice was really full of energy, even though Demiurge had taken on so much work.

Demiurge's "at once" proved true enough. Less than five minutes later, a knock sounded at the doors to the Throne Room.

"Come in." Momonga waved a hand, and the heavy black iron doors slowly opened. A man in an exquisite suit stood in the doorway.

The man was about 180 centimeters tall, with somewhat Eastern features and jet-black hair slicked back. Behind his round glasses, his eyes could no longer be called narrowed; they looked as though they were not open at all.

Dressed in a British-style suit, he gave the impression of a highly capable businessman or professional such as a lawyer. Yet even dressed as a gentleman, he could not conceal his evil aura. Behind him was a tail sheathed in silver metal plates, its tip bearing six spikes and surrounded by faint black flames that constantly flickered.

His name was Demiurge, Guardian of the Seventh Floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Possessing an exceptionally sharp mind and strategic vision, he was also Nazarick's military advisor and the NPC commander responsible for defending against outside enemies.

Demiurge walked down the passage through the Throne Room, which was covered in a crimson carpet, then dropped to one knee before Momonga's throne.

"Lord Momonga, what orders do you have for this subordinate?"

Demiurge also addressed him as "Lord Momonga," and Momonga felt his nonexistent stomach twitching in spasms.
