Synopsis:
Graceful in bearing, gentle and quiet in nature, calm and unassuming in all she did—this was the self-cultivation of a single guy who had transmigrated into the world of Naruto and become Hinata. A certain narrator said, "Hinata, stop pretending. We saw through everything long ago."
Young Miss Hinata
In an antique room filled with a girlish atmosphere, a young girl sat on a small bed.
It was nighttime. The moon outside the window shone brightly, its light filtering through the gaps in the house and falling across the small bed and the girl sitting on it.
The girl wore a pale pink long-sleeved top and black pants, wrapping her small body up tightly.
What stood out most was her short light-purple hair and those eyes that looked as if she had cataracts.
Of course, they were not cataracts. They were the renowned Byakugan of this world, possessed exclusively by the Hyuga Clan, one of the two strongest clans in Konoha Village of the Land of Fire.
The girl was adorable, yet for some reason, she looked rather lonely at the moment. An almost imperceptible air of disbelief and helplessness surrounded her.
Her name was Hinata Hyuga. That was right—she was the young miss of the Hyuga Clan's main family, a student still studying at the Ninja Academy.
Yet no one could have imagined that, just an hour ago, Hinata had still been someone like everyone else present, living in a city of steel.
Back then, he had not been called Hinata. He had simply been an otaku who loved staying at home, treated Naruto as his favorite series, and regarded Hinata as his goddess.
Because he loved the otaku lifestyle, loved the anime Naruto, and was a loyal fan of Hinata's character, he had generously spent a considerable sum of his own money on the series' merchandise.
In particular, he had bought nearly every Hinata figurine he could find, which undoubtedly proved the strength of his devotion.
A Hinata figurine he had bought online some time ago, one he did not yet own, had finally been delivered today. Unable to wait, he hurried downstairs to retrieve it from a parcel locker some distance away.
The moment he got it, he could not bear to put it down. Before he had even returned home, he had already opened the package and taken out the figurine.
When he saw what the figurine truly looked like, his heart filled with joy. That money really wasn't wasted. It cost more than a thousand yuan, but that's still enough for several months' worth of instant noodles.
But while he was reveling in his happiness, he failed to notice a flowerpot falling from the sky as he passed in front of an apartment building. He had no idea which floor it had fallen from.
Yet when the flowerpot truly struck his head, his only thought was that it carried an incredible amount of force—and that it hurt like hell.
A crisp sound rang out. He did not know whether it was the flowerpot shattering against his head or the sound of it colliding with his skull.
He fell stiffly to the ground, while the figurine he had been holding in his arms landed not far away. As his consciousness began to blur, he heard indistinct cries coming from around him.
Then, amid his haze, he seemed to feel someone shaking him. Strength returned to his body, and he used it to open his eyes.
The first thing he saw upon opening them was a small figure and a man with sharply defined facial features, both watching him with concern from nearby.
The strangest thing about them was their pale, blank eyes—eyes he had never encountered, seen, or even heard of in the real world.
Then a little girl's clear voice sounded by his ear. "Onee-chan, are you okay?"
The man with the sharply defined facial features spoke at once as well. "Hinata, now that you're awake, don't keep lying there. If you still feel unwell, I'll arrange for someone from the clan to take you to Konoha Hospital."
Hinata obediently agreed. After the man finished speaking, he turned and left. In the instant he turned away, Hinata seemed to sense a hint of disappointment emanating from him.
Still dazed, he got to his feet and, led by the little girl, a boy who was clearly older than him, and an elder, made a trip to a place resembling a hospital.
Along the way, the boy kept calling him "Lady Hinata." The little girl seemed somewhat afraid of the boy and would always cautiously call him "Brother Neji."
