In a flash, Green appeared beside Little Eight, on the back of Mystery's Myriad-Headed Bird. The bird slowly descended and sprawled upon the ground.
"Caw caw caw, Young Master, how did the Annihilation Force experiment go?"
Yeye was playing with Little Eight at his side, carefree and untroubled. She had long since accepted Little Eight from the bottom of her heart, while Little Eight had already forgotten how he and Yeye used to bicker and quarrel back in the Nest World.

"Yes, Lord Green!"
The Thousand-Eyed Giant Crab was beside itself with excitement, wildly gesturing with its two enormous pincers, seeming not to know what to do.
"Caw!? A long journey? How long?"
Little Eight asked in astonishment.
Green thought for a moment. "Mm, roughly one or two thousand years. Generally speaking, every Level Three Great Wizard goes through such a journey. You should know that."
"Oh, just one or two thousand years. Isn't that merely the duration of a plundering expedition in ancient times—"
Little Eight had only gotten halfway through his indifferent remark when he seemed to realize something. All his feathers suddenly stood on end as he shrieked, "Caw!? What, one or two thousand years! Young Master, are you saying Yeye and I will be separated for one or two thousand years? How is that possible!?"
Green pinched the bridge of his nose
