His magic power was in turmoil. The magic power Green could command within his body was rapidly dwindling. This was the result of his Forgetting Truth Spacetime Sealing Art being forcibly destroyed by an external force—the backlash of magic power!

Through the indirect contact sensed via the giant tongue, Green faintly detected that on the other side of the spacetime node, within the semi-illusory Scent World, a powerful ancient scent creature was watching the Wizard World like a tiger eyeing its prey. Its enormous, invisible body peered through from the other end of the spatial node, intending to lay its hands on this wondrous real world brimming with scents.

The more detached an illusory world was from reality, the more likely it was to give birth to an illusory sovereign, one who possessed marvelous abilities linked to the laws of that illusory world. Semi-illusory worlds, meanwhile, were worlds in a transitional stage between reality and illusion, possessing the ability to travel between the real and the illusory.

Strictly speaking, even the Nightmare World could be called a semi-illusory world. Compared to the Scent World, however, it simply leaned somewhat more toward illusion.

Hiss—urgh!

Yellow, fetid liquid spread outward. As the illusory laws exerted a greater influence over the Wizard World, a powerful aura emerged from the spacetime node. This powerful scent creature had finally broken through the barrier between reality and illusion and descended into the Wizard World.
