The fierce battle between Agemund and Holmes had already lasted a full three sandglass intervals.

The dozens-of-meters-tall metal giant continuously swept red rays in every direction. After three beeps—"beep," "beep," "beep"—three rays caught the afterimage flying around it at astonishing speed. In an instant, after the metal giant's left hand hummed as it gathered energy for a brief moment, a dark-red beam flashed and vanished.

Boom!

Destructive energy exploded through the Three-Star Holy Tower's Abyss Duel Arena. Within the shockwave, a black afterimage flickered past.

"An attack that could steadily exceed five thousand degrees. Though this mechanical wizard's attack intensity was somewhat inferior to Annihilation Force, it was enough to offset Annihilation Force in a direct battle. And the other abilities this mechanical wizard possessed..."

From the VIP seats high above, Green watched the battle between the two powerful wizards while making his own assessments.

If it could not become a World Lord, the Thousand-Eyed Giant Crab's potential for growth had its limits. Though it was not weak among ordinary Level Three creatures, compared with queen-ant-class mechanical puppets or some exceptional Level Three creatures from other worlds, it was not an especially outstanding evolved species.

Mystery's Myriad-Headed Bird, on the other hand, held some promise. But that would only be after it grew ninety-nine heads, when it should be able to rival a queen-ant-class mechanical puppet. For now, it still had a long road ahead.

The Crow-Devouring Flame Soul Giant?

Because Green had grasped the qualitative-change energy known as Annihilation Force while still a Level One wizard, he had advanced to Level Two at tremendous speed. As a result, this elemental-activated creature sorcery—which should have grown alongside him—had fallen behind. Though it had some special qualities, its strength was only that of the most ordinary Level Three creature.
