It took a full hour and a half of sandglass time for Green to follow this abyss human back to a concealed nest.

Though these abyss humans possessed life signs somewhat stronger than ordinary humans of the Wizard World, they were merely at the level of knights—pathetically weak. Green strolled through the nest, listening to their language. It had far fewer syllables than ancient wizard language and no connection whatsoever to modern wizard language.

More than two hundred abyss humans had gathered inside the nest. The Abyss Moss covering their bodies served as a perfect protective layer.

Perhaps due to the disappearance of human social bonds, these abyss humans had not only failed to walk the path of wizards again, but had even suffered obvious degeneration in the rich emotional displays, intelligent thought, and emotional expression of ordinary Wizard World humans.

Since these lifeforms were so weak that soul communication was nearly impossible, Green did not rashly attempt to communicate with them. Instead, he looked toward the faded murals on the stone walls, hoping to find clues in these stone paintings and the scattered ancient wizard script.

The paintings were far too blurred and severely damaged. Green relied on his own wisdom to painstakingly reconstruct one mural after another, yet he could only faintly discern the despairing emotions of those ancient wizards.

During this time, Green finally expelled all the ancient abyss demonic energy from his body.

"What is this?"

The clues in every mural seemed to point toward a savage, brutal giant hand, yet there was not a single other hint concerning it. It seemed the formation of this sealed space was caused by this bizarre hand.

Several monsters stood beside this bizarre hand. From the blurred ancient wizard script, Green determined that they should be Formless Ancient Demons.
