The name Green, Shadow of Despair of the Seven-Ring Holy Tower, rapidly spread among the upper echelons of the Black Witch Alliance.

In the past, quite a few elemental wizards from the Wizard Continent and body-refining wizards from the subterranean abyss had made great names for themselves during their travels, then attempted to use the Black Region's black wizards as stepping stones to rise another step and attain the pinnacle of fame beneath the Saint Mark.

Of the wizards throughout history who had made such attempts, half had indeed succeeded. Once they escaped the Black Region, they became figures whose names shook the Wizard World.

The other half vanished forever. The tales surrounding them were replaced by one rising newcomer after another, gradually fading into oblivion in people's memories.
