It had been thirty-five years since it arrived in the Rotten World. Laboring diligently every day, BYSS1908's assignment had never changed: stand watch atop the observation tower at scheduled times, drive away low-level primitive Rotten World creatures approaching the mining site, and warn any high-level creatures that came near the collection point.

The rotten fog was completely ineffective against metal intelligent robots. So long as their quantum intelligent CPUs did not suffer external corrosion, these low-level metal intelligent robots could live forever.

These pictographs were printed on the back of every intelligent robot, as if recounting some history of the civilization behind them.

Inside the metallurgical smelting chamber, a new batch of concentrated niobium ore had finished compression. The ultra-high-pressure power furnace loaded the concentrated ore into an anti-gravity spacecraft, which transported it to a higher-grade mineral storage base in the Rotten World.

After a hard day's work, the mining robots headed to the maintenance room, parts repair room, parts point exchange room, energy replenishment room, and dormancy room to live out simulated lives. Another batch of robots took over their posts and began their working hours.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, a rocket craft streaked across the sky at an unimaginably high speed. Layer upon layer of sonic booms tore through the heavens, driving away a vast patch of the luminous green rotten fog overhead.

At the BYSS Niobium Mining Base, numerous intelligent robots raised their heads in unison as torrents of data flashed through them.

As vast streams of data flickered, BYSS1098 Metal Intelligent Robot had only just identified the rocket
