Background / History

Yu Ke is a collateral descendant of the Luoshui Yu Clan, an old Great Zhou noble family whose fortunes have declined over the centuries. The clan's founding ancestor, Yu Chuan, was a famed Great True Person and sword cultivator, but later generations produced no comparable figure; Yu Ke inherited only a thin remnant of that lineage. 4 238

Before his transformation, Yu Ke was regarded as a stubborn cultivation devotee with mediocre sword aptitude and a frail body.
