Tianyangzi said in a deep voice.
"Master, look—what is this?"
As Xiao Yifeng and Tianyangzi spoke, the woman's gaze swept over the surroundings. Suddenly, her eyes fell upon a stone stele.
Three words were carved upon the stele—Tianyangzi's name. Above it was an engraved portrait. In the portrait was Tianyangzi, seated cross-legged before the stele without moving, his eyes slightly closed as though meditating in cultivation. Yet his face was pale, and a streak of bright-red blood spilled from the corner of his mouth. The person in the portrait was that woman, and beside Tianyangzi was another portrait.
The other portrait likewise bore a line of writing:
"Senior Brother, Senior Sister, if you see this scene, please do not blame me. My mission is only to stop this catastrophe!"
Tears filled the eyes of the woman in the painting. Looking at the two portraits, complicated emotions flickered in her eyes.
"Who are you?" Xiao Yifeng asked the woman.
Hearing Xiao Yifeng's words, a strange light flashed through the woman's eyes. She immediately dropped to her knees.
"Greetings, Master!"
The woman spoke.
"You know me?" Xiao Yifeng was stunned by her actions. He looked at her in confusion.
"Master, when you entered the Nine Provinces Continent, you had us follow by your side. Of course I know that you are our Master!" the woman said respectfully.
"You are Tianyang's disciple?" Xiao Yifeng looked at the middle-aged man and asked.
"That's right. I am Senior Brother's Junior Sister, Tian Yue," the woman said calmly.
"So that's how it is. Tian Yue, get up."
As Xiao Yifeng spoke flatly, he waved a hand. A formless surge of energy flowed into Tian Yue's body.
Tian Yue's body trembled, and two brilliant rays immediately burst from her eyes.
"Master, thank you for saving my life!"
