Nexus darted through the crowd of Dark Elves at supersonic speed, his palms flashing as he moved. With every strike, a figure was sent flying from the crowd, shattered to pieces by the terrifying force.

The Dark Elves themselves posed no threat to Nexus. Never mind one against several thousand—even tens of millions of such weaklings attacking together could never produce any qualitative change. Cursed Warriors were essentially the ceiling of their race's combat power, and even warriors that powerful had been one-shot before Nexus. What waves could the rest possibly make?

After instantly killing several hundred Dark Elves, Nexus slowed slightly and turned to see three grenades being hurled his way.

He immediately remembered those things.

They were miniature black hole grenades, arguably the most badass invention developed by the entire Dark Elf race.

Which meant the claim that Cursed Warriors were their ultimate trump card might not have been entirely correct. The strongest thing the Dark Elves possessed should have been these grenades. In the movie, these things were practically invincible—whoever they hit died. A grenade would explode into a spatial black hole on the spot, its boundless gravitational pull dragging the target into the void before the pressure of space ground them into dust.

In the movie, the Cursed Warrior Algrim had barely been injured from beginning to end. Mjolnir hitting him was like a scratch, and even Thor and Loki combined were not enough to fight one of his hands. Yet after a single black hole grenade, the invulnerable Cursed Warrior died instantly on the spot, without even a chance to struggle.

It was quite strange, really. The Dark Elves' weapons all looked rather low-end. Their energy guns did not seem particularly powerful, and their spacecraft and fighter designs had no notable features. Yet
