Capturing the Silver Surfer Alive

The Silver Surfer was taken aback, but by the time he came to his senses, Nexus had already subdued him completely. He could not move. He knew that if he so much as tried to twitch a finger, the other party could slit his throat and deal him a fatal blow.

He was also certain that the Ultraman behind him had the ability to do just that.

The Silver Surfer had thought that once he burst out of the Star Gate's turbulent flow, he would shake off his pursuer. It was not a bad idea, except he had used that move on the wrong person.

Richard had seen through his intentions long ago, but against someone wielding the Space Stone, such a tactic was utterly meaningless.

The Space Stone possessed absolute authority over space, so overwriting space itself was hardly difficult. The moment the Silver Surfer entered the Star Gate, Richard activated the Space Stone, targeting the entire gate itself. He rewrote the gate's destination and operating mode, using the Stone's power to direct the other man toward the exit he wanted.

All he had to do next was use the Stone to send himself to that same exit and wait for his prey.

With his movements restrained and little strength or energy remaining, the Silver Surfer knew he had failed completely. There was no way he could escape from this Ultraman.

Although Richard was certain he could no longer run, he still used Binding Ray to wrap the Silver Surfer up like a rice dumpling just in case. Then, with a teleportation through the Space Stone, he brought him and his surfboard back to Earth.
