Galactus Has Arrived?

Although he did not think the military or ordinary superheroes would be of much help, Richard still gathered everyone together.

On one hand, this was a crisis shared by everyone, and they should at least be mentally prepared. On the other, he recalled that superheroes in the original works had indeed driven back Galactus before.

Earth's superheroes generally possessed the special trait of "being forcibly matched fifty-fifty in team fights." Even though the difference in strength was enormous, if they could find a way to deal with one or two of Galactus's heralds, that would still work.

Richard felt that he should still have a chance of winning in a one-on-one fight with Galactus. But if that whole mess of heralds came up with Galactus and ganged up on him, then he might really be in danger.

Experts rarely fought one-on-one?

It was a nice thought, but the universe did not play by those rules. Especially those lofty big shots—they had no such concept. You could tell from how the Celestials loved showing up to gang up on people. Cosmic gods had no concept of a "fair duel." In their eyes, even if ten thousand people pinned down one person, it just meant those ten thousand were stronger. There was nothing to complain about.

The military's combat power could be ignored. Among the Avengers, people like Falcon, Hawkeye, and Black Widow could also be set aside. Of the rest, Stark, Captain Marvel, and the Fantastic Four might be able to help.

The general from the Pentagon looked grave as he asked Richard, the "special S.H.I.E.L.D. consultant," "I heard this is a major Earth-level crisis? Is it related to the abnormal weather these past few days?"

Richard nodded. "Yes. The abnormal weather is because an uninvited guest has arrived on Earth.
