The Impelaizer, which had been nearly scrapped moments ago, instantly returned to normal and resumed its mechanical advance. It raised an arm, and roaring cannon fire swept straight toward him.

Nexus flashed, using a Quantumization blink to evade the dense barrage. The next instant, he appeared at the Impelaizer's side.
