Military bases across the entire globe seemed to have gone mad, firing nuclear missiles as if they cost nothing, carving crisscrossing trails through the sky.

Nexus shot into the sky at light speed after transforming, flying straight into the path of an incoming nuclear missile. That missile was clearly locked onto New York City. If he did not deal with it first, Richard's company, estate, and everything else would surely be vaporized on the spot.

But dismantling a single nuclear missile was far too easy for Nexus now. He had no fewer than ten thousand ways to deal with it.

What he needed now was the most efficient one.

Moving hundreds or thousands of times faster than the nuclear missile, Nexus swiftly closed in. His figure lightly swept past the warhead as he brushed a palm across the surface of the nuclear weapon's casing.

Light energy surged forth. The metal casing melted through, and within a few hundredths of a second, the entire missile was broken down by light into atoms, completely annihilated in the air.

Nexus did not stop moving. After disintegrating the missile behind him, he did not even look back. His entire body underwent Quantumization, and with a flash, he vanished from where he stood.

A second later, he was already thousands of miles away.

A Cosmic Ray disintegrated the nuclear missile headed for the White House. Then he underwent Quantumization and teleported again, this time to a missile targeting the Pentagon. Another second later, he arrived in Texas, where a sweep of azure light scattered three nuclear missiles in midair into blue photon particles...
