Battle Against Impelaizer Again

Ultron's intentions were already obvious when he deployed Impelaizer near the Triskelion. He had clearly seen through the trap Stark and S.H.I.E.L.D. had set for him, and now he was preparing to strike back.

Ultron had only come into being recently and had yet to figure out how to operate within the world of data. He felt unable to deal with the data-crushing gun in Ant-Man's hands, so he chose to attack their headquarters directly.

But this was also within expectations. Everyone knew Ultron still had Impelaizer at his disposal and had remained on guard against it. Stark immediately ordered the entire base to enter maximum alert. Every defensive weapons system at the Triskelion activated, countless energy guns and automated turrets locking onto the massive mechanical shell.

Naturally, however, such conventional weapons would be ineffective against Impelaizer.

Energy blasts bounced off the robot's black armor. Missiles shot forth and exploded one after another against its shell, yet failed to leave even the slightest mark. Its enormous body advanced step by step, each footfall making the earth tremble and the ground sink.

Stark watched that unstoppable figure through the screen, then glanced around the command room and found that Richard had, as expected, vanished at some point.

Several seconds later, surging light appeared on the massive floor-to-ceiling display like a waterfall, its brilliant glow illuminating the entire command room.
