Can You Escape?

"You rashly charged into my domain. That was your mistake," Dark Lucifer said. "From what I know of you, you should have been more cautious. If you think that thing called the 'Infinity Stones' in your hand makes you safe, then you are gravely mistaken.

My domain is different from any you have encountered before. Strictly speaking, this is a universe completely independent of the world you know—a pocket dimension created and ruled by me."

Richard steadied his breathing as the surging energy within his chest was gradually suppressed.

But from Lucifer's words, he realized what the other party was trying to imply.

"That's right." Dark Lucifer sneered. "You may already understand what I mean. Those all-powerful magical stones of yours are no better than junk here. They cannot help you escape alive."

So that was it.

Dark Lucifer had apparently done his homework. He knew the greatest limitation and weakness of the Infinity Stones.

Anyone with even a slight understanding of Marvel knew that the Infinity Stones were items restricted by region.

The Stones were merely a form of existence. The six Stones were like six keys that allowed their user to access the fundamental laws of the world. It was not that the Stones themselves possessed the supernatural power to rewrite rules and overturn the world. What they granted was something akin to administrator privileges, allowing one to obtain ultimate authority through them.

And since they were administrator privileges, they naturally only worked within the scope of their jurisdiction.

Infinity Stones produced by a single universe were only effective within that corresponding universe. Once they left that effective range, they were no different from scrap. Marvel had countless parallel universes and countless Infinity Stones, but so far, no universe's Stones had ever functioned outside their own effective range.
