Richard had heard this story long ago.

The Power Stone, the ultimate energy source among the Infinity Stones, had once existed in the universe in the form of the Orb. As a divine artifact possessing power rivaling that of gods, it had been fiercely contested by countless generations.

That had happened a very, very long time ago, even before humanity came into being. One of the Elders of the Universe had obtained the Orb by chance and mastered the formidable power of the Power Stone.

As mentioned before, every Elder of the Universe had some peculiar obsession. They all treated a certain hobby or interest as their anchor. For this particular Elder, his anchor was combat—a love of seeking thrills and challenges.

After obtaining the Power Stone, he believed himself invincible and went to challenge the legendary supreme deity of this universe, the primordial god Galactus.

Unfortunately for him, while Galactus was usually in a state of extreme hunger and not at his strongest, he had just finished feeding at the time and was not that hungry. So the old fellow casually gave that troublemaking Elder of the Universe a thorough beating, treating it as post-meal exercise...

The beaten Elder of the Universe soon refused to accept this and called a large group of brothers to come trouble Galactus. A great war then erupted between Galactus and the Elders of the Universe. As for who won and who lost, that was unknown.

But from then on, Galactus and the Elders had officially become enemies. Throughout the long years that followed, conflicts of varying scales would always erupt whenever the two sides crossed paths.

However, judging from this incident, Galactus had clearly drawn the short straw.
