Rumor had it that two Celestial-level criminals were imprisoned there—two of the earliest Celestials born at the dawn of the universe, regarded as heretics among the Celestials.

Richard had seen Kyln's blueprints at the Nova Corps. He knew every hidden door, every pipe, every trap, checkpoint, and security measure inside the prison like the back of his hand. If this prison had also been modeled after Kyln, it might actually provide him with an advantage.

Teleportation was blocked, and even Quantumization phasing would trigger the alarms. The entire prison was isolated from the outside world. Between the metal and earth more than a thousand meters deep, there were no ventilation ducts, no wiring, no passages, not even a single door.
