Who Is It?

Ultimate Light Arrow, Nexus's most powerful and destructive ultimate move. If it landed directly, even a god could be vaporized in an instant.

Of course, that was assuming it actually dealt damage.

The beam blasted out. Nexus landed lightly on the ground, crouching on one knee as he breathed faintly.

As the smoke ahead dispersed, several enormous figures gradually emerged. The Elders of the Universe stood behind the dust, and a transparent shield of cosmic energy slowly faded away.

"That was almost careless."

"I told you he was strong." It was Runner who spoke.

"Stop bickering. Focus. The battle isn't over yet." It was Grandmaster who spoke.

The figures of the six Elders of the Universe gradually came into clear view. Other than blasting out a massive crater and leaving them looking somewhat dusty and disheveled, Ultimate Light Arrow had achieved nothing.

Normally, even the Elders of the Universe could not withstand an ultimate move on the level of Ultimate Light Arrow head-on. But there were six of them now, and all six wielded cosmic energy from the same system. They could combine their respective energies for offense or defense.

The Ultimate Light Arrow had just been neutralized by the combined strength of all six. It had dealt no actual damage.

"We underestimated you just now." Grandmaster unusually shed his usual unreliable demeanor. "But from this moment on, your luck has run out."

That was what he said, and that was what the Elders did. Before Grandmaster had even finished speaking, a golden flash of lightning leaped out of the crater, streaking over Nexus's head through the air and appearing behind him with lightning speed.
