Richard was very familiar with this feeling. It was the mutual erosion between subspaces—the Dark Field was encroaching upon the space of light. And at the center of that encroachment stood the petite woman within the field.

Yet Richard could also sense that this was different from the Dark Field's previous invasions. If he had to pinpoint the difference, it was probably that this darkness held no aggression whatsoever.

Though it had forced its way in, this Dark Field showed no intention of squeezing out the Meta Field. It was more like a fusion. Threads of dark energy merged into the subspace, coexisting harmoniously with the field's light particles in a state resembling fusion and attachment.

The sky dimmed slightly, while black streaks and green speckles spread across the reddish-brown earth. The two utterly opposite fields, which should have repelled each other, coexisted in a bizarre form, creating the current subspace field.

A space where light and darkness coexisted.

The next second, the woman's figure vanished, and a pitch-black pillar of light rose from the ground. The Dark Giant appeared beneath the sky where light and darkness interwove, kicking up a towering cloud of dust as he landed.
