In the depths of space, on some unknown planet.
This was a planet that shared a fate similar to Earth's.
Three million years ago, giants from the stars descended upon this barren planet and sowed the seeds of life for the first time.
Three thousand years ago, the giants descended once more, inspecting the planet's evolutionary path and the development of its civilization. After judging the results satisfactory, they brought more technology and left knowledge behind for its people, hoping to give their scientific civilization a boost.
But things did not go as planned.
Not long afterward, this civilization's rapid progress came to a halt. The intelligent life forms here split apart and began fighting one another, waging war over limited resources.
The fighting lasted for a full three thousand years. Countless lives were lost to war, and endless blood stained the entire land.
