Dark Zagi saw only a flash of fists before his eyes. Even with his dynamic vision, he had barely been able to make out the other's movements or trajectory. Without thinking, he raised an arm to block, but the fist abruptly changed course midway and slammed heavily into his abdomen.
The intense pain nearly pierced through his body, followed by a deep, concentrated darkness.
Zagi prided himself on being the Dark Destroyer God, possessing the deepest darkness in the world. Yet at this moment, he vaguely felt that this power was hundreds, perhaps thousands of times more evil than even at his peak. Even he, who should have long grown accustomed to darkness, felt as though he were about to be swallowed whole.
Zagi's body paused slightly before he was sent flying backward, soaring parallel to the ground of this black domain until he vanished beyond the horizon.
Zagi had been blasted away by Lucifer in a single exchange, and the latter had no intention of stopping there.
Just as he had said, Zagi was merely a pawn from his past, and he was of no use to him now.
He intended to eliminate Zagi in one go first, reducing the variables to come.
Dark Lucifer pushed off with his feet, and his pitch-black body seemed to vanish into thin air.
The ground beneath his feet shattered under the strain. A violent gale rose through the space, and countless chunks of rubble flew up in the wake of his afterimage.
In practically the blink of an eye, Dark Lucifer had caught up to Zagi. Zagi was still stiff from the heavy blow, his body continuing to fly backward, utterly unable to retaliate or defend himself. Lucifer raised one hand high, darkness capable of tearing apart everything gathering in his palm
