Background

Minato was a young, little-known genius when Kumogakure abducted twelve-year-old Kushina Uzumaki. He followed the trail of hair she deliberately left behind, killed the three Kumogakure elite ninja responsible, and brought her home safely. The rescue became the beginning of their bond. 13

He later became Jiraiya’s disciple and developed into a frontline leader during the Third Shinobi World War. Under Jiraiya’s command on Konoha’s northeastern front, Minato led elite forces against Kumogakure’s Fourth Raikage and Killer B, becoming Konoha’s principal defense against their speed and Tailed Beast power. 56
