Secrets of the Gods [Second Update]

The Age of Gods, as the name implied, was the "age of the gods."

There were gods in the sky, gods upon the earth, and gods within the sea.

Love arose because of gods, hatred arose because of gods, and war and death likewise came from gods.

The so-called laws of nature were the Authorities wielded by the gods. The world belonged to the gods, and the gods existed because of it.

There were various theories as to whether the gods mentioned in legends, beliefs, and religions preserved throughout the modern world truly came from the same source. But in the eyes of modern magi, all manner of legends were merely explanations for the actual existence of the Age of Gods. The gods had indeed existed, but—with the arrival of humanity's age, they vanished without a trace.

The disappearance of the Age of Gods was divided into three stages: decline, farewell, and catalyst.

No one knew when the decline of the Age of Gods began, but evidence indicated that it ended around 12,000 BC.

In that era, Earth suffered a massive catastrophe, and from then on, primitive mythological civilizations began to decline.

In truth, that disaster was caused by the Devouring Star approaching Earth and releasing the Harvest Star Vanguard sefar02—or rather, Altera, the giant god upon the moon—to begin its invasion of Earth.

At the time, sefar02, in the form of Sefar, defeated the primordial war god that protected the planet. To deal with that great enemy, Gaia forged the legendary "Star-Creating Holy Sword."

In the end, Sefar was destroyed by the "Holy Sword Wielder" who held the sacred sword, and prehistoric civilization was destroyed as a result.
