Qin's development was not limited to the Nine Provinces.
Although an order had been issued to recuperate and temporarily halt the war, that decision applied only to Earth.
After all, Qin's reach had already broken through the constraints of the atmosphere and extended into outer space.
In other words, while Qin had not yet begun conquering the surrounding nations, endless territories still awaited it in space.
Looking across the nine planets of the Solar System, although Earth alone could be called habitable, which of the other planets lacked abundant resources?
Take Mars, for example. According to Ye Ting's plans, once the Empire fully entered the interstellar age, this planet would become an industrial planet, a forge world—in short, a gigantic factory spanning the entire planet. From Mars's surface to its orbit, factories of every kind would use its abundant mineral resources, along with resources from other planets, to continuously supply the entire Qin Empire with starships, vehicles, weapons, machinery, and more.
For now, however, Qin had only barely established a temporary base on Mars.
Incidentally, to facilitate planetary development, Ye Ting had specifically designed a warship called the "Base Ship." This vessel was ten kilometers long, equipped with a powerful core AI, and stored a vast number of blueprints within it.
Furthermore, the Base Ship carried no armaments at all. Instead, it was equipped with an almost complete set of basic industrial facilities.
As a result, this warship possessed no combat power whatsoever. Its sole purpose was to land on alien worlds and then deploy on-site as a forward outpost for planetary construction.
Aside from industrial equipment, the only vehicles aboard a Base Ship were engineering vehicles known as Space Engineering Mechs.
Unlike the various engineering robots now widely used in Qin's construction projects, Space Engineering Mechs were general-purpose engineering
