Without a doubt, Yahweh sending Gabriel to receive the visitors was enough to show how much importance he placed on them.
Gabriel held the important post of Heaven's chief guard, responsible for the vigilance of the entire celestial realm. Even among the archangels, Gabriel ranked rather highly.
Furthermore, the divine artifact created by Yahweh, the Trumpet of Judgment, was kept in her care. This, too, reflected Gabriel's status.
However, despite being the chief guard, Gabriel was neither stern nor arrogant. On the contrary, she was widely acknowledged among the angels as a gentle older sister and was revered by them all. Yet whenever Gabriel began lecturing them, the angels made their reluctance unmistakably clear. This, in turn, allowed Gabriel, as chief guard, to manage the angels quite effectively.
At Heaven's entrance, Ye Ting met this famed figure from the Bible.
She was a classic blonde, blue-eyed beauty, with a flawless figure and appearance. From afar, she resembled an orchid blooming in a secluded valley—pure and beautiful.
"Greetings, honored guests." Though she was an archangel, Gabriel still gave Ye Ting a solemn bow. "My name is Gabriel, the archangel seated at God's left hand."
As a hostess, gentle and courteous Gabriel could indeed win a visitor's favor with ease. From this alone, Yahweh's choice had not been wrong.
Yet beneath Gabriel's gentle exterior lay terrifying combat power and destructive force. The golden horn fastened at her waist was proof enough—once the Trumpet of Judgment was sounded, the end would descend. At the same time, no matter where one was, Heaven's gates would open, and endless heavenly armies would dominate the battlefield.
Simply put, it was a weapon capable of igniting a war among gods.
Gentle Gabriel paired with the Trumpet of Judgment was both a welcome and a warning to visitors.
