"You want to go back!" He walked slowly up to Ji Mingyue, his voice calm and brooking no argument.

"My imperial father and my brother are the two relatives who have treated me best."
Then she added, "But I also know that if I return, I'll become a burden and force you into a difficult choice. Reason tells me I cannot return to the Royal Capital now. Once the dust settles, I'll be merely a woman, an inconspicuous princess of the imperial family. No one will target me anymore."
"Don't worry about all that!" Jiang Ning smiled. "If you want to go back, we'll return to the Royal Capital. As it happens, I'm worried about my brother and
