Atop a cliff.
The morning breeze swept past as dawn glimmered on the distant horizon, dispelling the last traces of night.
Jiang Ning stood there, gazing into the distance. He could feel subtle changes taking place in his body as his Primordial Spirit entered it.
His blood and qi grew, his true essence increased, and, nourished by his Primordial Spirit, his flesh seemed infused with new life. Every inch of flesh and every strand of muscle and bone transformed in the smallest of ways.
This transformation was no violent impact. Like spring rain nourishing all things, it was silent, yet lasting and profound.
He could clearly sense his already formidable physical strength climbing once more after his Primordial Spirit returned to its place.
The golden patterns of his Great Sun Divine Physique flowed faintly beneath his skin, becoming ever more solid.
His Dragon-Tiger Golden Core slowly revolved within his dantian, taking in and releasing newly formed true essence. Purple qi swirled around it, and Dao resonance arose of its own accord.
Divine power also quietly gathered within him, more efficiently than before.
He stood atop the cliff, mountain winds roaring and robes billowing, yet not a trace of his aura escaped. All his power remained contained within him.
What he saw now was much like what his Primordial Spirit had perceived when discerning heaven and earth moments earlier. He saw not merely the shapes of mountains, rivers, and plants, but the paths along which spiritual energy flowed and the rhythms of all things' waxing and waning vitality.
He could clearly feel that, after attaining his Primordial Spirit, his perception of the world had utterly surpassed mortal boundaries and reached a new height.
Then he gently closed his eyes as he stood atop the cliff.
His mind
