Personality

Dai Mubai is impulsive, proud, and quick to answer provocation with force. During the Imperial Battle Team match, Yun Tian's insults immediately provoked him into releasing his Martial Soul before Tang San could properly coordinate Shrek's formation. 27

He is also openly lecherous and repeatedly seeks out sexual entertainment with Ma Hongjun, Oscar, and later Tang San. His degrading remarks about Ning Rongrong bring severe consequences, and his continued arrogance later earns him a punch from Liu Erlong. 23 33 72 75

Despite his pride, Dai Mubai becomes notably humble when his survival and royal future are threatened. He kneels to ask Tang San for treatment after his injury and later begs him to help defeat Star Luo Academy, since losing his contest with Dai Weisi would mean death. 53 81

History

Shrek Academy

Dai Mubai trained with Shrek Academy's students during Yu Xiaogang's weighted running exercises. He considered helping Zhu Zhuqing bear part of her burden, but stopped after seeing her cold expression. 23

When Shrek faced the Imperial Battle Team, Dai Mubai led Shrek onto the arena and identified himself as a level 38 White Tiger Battle Soul Elder. He immediately antagonized Yun Tian with remarks about Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling, then released his Martial Soul prematurely after Yun Tian retaliated verbally. 27

He stalled Yu Tianheng at first, but Yun Tian's River Sealing struck him when he attempted to reinforce himself. The attack left his Soul Power difficult to mobilize, contributing to Shrek's surrender. 28

Punishment and Treatment

Dai Mubai's obscene threat toward Ning Rongrong led Chen Xin, the Sword Douluo, to mutilate him as punishment. The injury left him in extreme pain and became a central crisis for the collapsing Shrek Academy. 33 36

Flender and Zhao Wuji sought Ye Lingling's healing, but she refused because treating Dai Mubai would disrespect Chen Xin's punishment. 44 Afterward, Dai Mubai humbled himself before Tang San and pleaded for treatment. Tang San agreed to attempt it, though he could not guarantee the result. 53

Star Luo Succession Conflict
