Taking the Day Off Today

I spent today thinking about how to write and structure the later plot. I'd thought I could at least finish a chapter tonight, but I still hadn't sorted the plot out.

Mainly, at this point in the story, some conflicts had arisen between several upcoming smaller plotlines. I needed to think carefully about how to make them fit together naturally and logically.

I also needed to start filling in some of the holes I'd dug earlier.

I sat there for several hours today and barely managed to squeeze out a few words. I'll try my best to get it sorted tomorrow.
