Taking a Day Off Today

I spent the whole day thinking about how to write and structure the upcoming plot. I originally thought I could at least finish a chapter tonight, but I still hadn't sorted out the storyline.

Mainly because at this point, there were some conflicts between several of the smaller plotlines coming up, so I needed to think carefully about how to make them fit together naturally and reasonably.

I also needed to start preparing to fill in some of the holes I dug earlier.

I sat here for several hours today and barely managed to squeeze out a few words. I'll try my best to get it sorted tomorrow.
