"Hmm? They failed?"

Platinum looked over her subordinates. Every one of them was injured—badly—but none were dead.

"Those two little girls from the Red Pine Knights aren't that capable. Tell me, who did you run into?"

"We don't know."

Since the Armorless Union's assassins had not asked Bai Ye any questions, Bai Ye had not introduced himself when he rescued Sonia and the others.

Still, the assassins described Bai Ye's appearance to Platinum.

The silver-haired girl narrowed her eyes slightly. Based on her subordinates' description, the figure she had encountered by chance in Martin Bar surfaced in her mind.

"So it was her... him. Then it wasn't unfair for you to lose." Platinum nodded, then said to her subordinates, "Don't spread word of this. Double your daily training workload. Dismissed..."

"Oh, right. Suspend all missions targeting the Red Pine Knights. I'll negotiate with the people above."

With a wave of her hand, Platinum did not make things too difficult for her subordinates. Running into someone as powerful as Bai Ye made mission failure perfectly normal.

"What a hassle... So he ended up entering the fray after all?"

After her subordinates left, Platinum rubbed her temples with a headache. She had no interest in troublesome work. If only she could loaf around on vacation forever...

The previous Platinum had developed feelings for her target and died at the hands of other Armorless Union members while protecting her beloved.

Platinum herself had been recommended for this position by that former Platinum before her death.

Forced into this seat, Platinum had little interest in any of it—though plenty of people coveted this position and the power that came with it.

"It probably won't matter if I report it a little later..."

Platinum did not possess even the slightest sense of responsibility as Platinum.
